blackberry curve 8520 or the blackberry curve 3g?
my friend is selling the 8520 for 160 bucks, used.
i am a student and short on money.
or should i get the 3g , new, for 290?
which is worth it? are they about the same? i just mainly text, i dont use apps or anything.

8520. But I recommend getting something besides blackberry. Android perhaps? they make really cheap phones. But if texting is all you’ll do. The blackberry is fine. The only difference between the 3G and the 8520 is that the 3G has 3g internet connection. If you don’t need internet then its fine.
