Apple Iphone Car Dock
Will the iPhone 4 use the same charger as the iPhone 3G/3GS?
I do not want to have to buy a new car charger just because apple decided to switch the power pins again on their patented 30-pin dock connector.
I don’t think you understand my question. They will keep the 30-pin dock that they have used in the past but they will change the pin on the dock for power to a different one. It’s the same jack but the same one that charges the ipod doesnt charge the 1st gen iphone and that one doesnt charge the iphone 3g/3gs.
I need some solid answer and not just opinion here. Back it up with a link to an article or something. Thanks.
I spoke with an Apple rep today and they said it’s the same as the 3GS…any accessories or chargers that plug in the phone that worked with the 3GS will definitely work with the 4.
