……………works with the iPod touch 2g (what I mean by “works with it” is CHARGES it)…I know many iHomes do not work with the new line of iPod touches, and was wondering if I should get this.

iPod touch 2nd generation, not iPod touch (1st generation), btw – 2g….
i used the adaptor for the first iHome i bought {iH6} (and returned 2 days later), because it has different wiring becuase apple changed the wiring in the part where you plug the charger in, so the adaptor will not help….i tried it
