iphone os 3.1 tether hack?
How come hackers can hack into MMS on the iphone but not the tethering for iphone os 3.1? for example this guy: http://www.krillr.com/blog/N72ZCXJH/tutorial-mms-on-iphone-os-31-att it should be built into the phone os like before but ALL hackers seem to be stumped when it comes to enabling the tethering part of it…. i am a tecky but not to the point of writing “CODE”… so in a way that i can understand it… would you mind explaining to me please what the problem is now?
They blocked hackers from changing the modem baseband. Probably because att insisted upon it. Don’t worry. ANY code can be broken and i’m sure some hackers out there are at the brink of figuring it out.
