Cell Phone Battery Install
What do you think?
My cell phone just died. The screen is still lit up, but when you press on the buttons, nothing happens. Do you think it simply needs a new battery? I’ve had the phone about a year, but I use it day and night. Could Radio Shack test it and/or install a new battery in it, or do I have to take it to Sprint?!
It’s a Nokia.
It could get locked up (like a computer). Shut it off, and then on to see if something happens (I assume you probably tried that).
Next, try taking out the battery. There should be a small switch (push button) in the back of the phone to release the battery. Wait about 15 seconds, then put the battery back in. See if the phone resets and allows you to use it.
If that doesn’t work, you probably do have to have a new battery.
