How do I get Yahoo! Astrology to stop sending text messages to my cell phone?
I got my cell number changed about 2 weeks ago. Ever since that day, I’ve started receiving daily astrology horoscopes from Yahoo! Astrology. I do not want this service to bug me daily. Worse yet, my cell plan charges me every time I receive a text message. I called the cell company and they say they cannot block incoming text messages. I have not as of yet found a way to contact anyone at Yahoo to tell them to stop this. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I don’t want to have to change my cell phone number again in efforst to block this…
That didn’t work. Unless someone else somewhere has created an account and entered my cell number…I never use Yahoo…at…all…aside from today trying to figure out how to stop these messages. I have no idea how on earth yahoo got my cell number.
try signing into your yahoo profile from the yahoo astrology page and seeing what services you have checked off to receive. Then uncheck the text message option.
