Explain how the innovation of the cell phone has led to significant change?
Did this change require a shift in current values and norms?
The cellphone is making people dumber because it fries their brains. Maybe not dumber 
but it is dangerous.
Cellphones have been released into the general market too fast. The potential dangers of the cellphone have not been explored.
Cellphones have been known to cause brain tumors because that part of the head where you hold the cellphone to cannot reflect harmful radio waves from the inner brain (it is not protected by the skull unlike the rest of the head)
Other than that, communication is so much faster and at lightning speed one can relay information to another without any effort at all.
With improved communication (everybody uses the cellphone so the potential advantages of cellphones are being fully used) there comes faster circulation of ideas and faster change. It helps link people together in ways that they previously would never have imagined. People are never too far away from you.

No, it changes the established values and norms all by itself. The cellphone is a HUGE leap in human communication. That is why it is so big.
If only it didn’t cause brain tumors :/
