Can you get struck by lightning by talking on a cell phone during a thunderstorm?
I didn’t think it was possible. But my friend’s mother forbids her from talking on a cell phone during a thunderstorm because she thinks my friend will get struck by lightning. Is this true? Please back up your answer with facts or sources. Thanks.
yes its possible, but not to common, see lighting always hits the highest point, but on occasion, it may hit a person, usally it only hit a person if the person is in a field or not by to many things, now if ur on a cell and talking in a field with not to many things around yeah, ur looking at a great possibility of getting stuck
