Cell Phone Listening Devices
Is it true the FBI can activate your Cell Phone and listen in whilst it’s off?
Is it true or maybe better put- Is is possible the FBI or US government could turn your Cell Phone on and listen in whilst it is not being used? Using the phone’s microphone as some kind of wire tap device?
(I mean can they do it when the cell phone is in standby, obviously if your phone was switched off they could not turn it on)
I would like as many opinions, views and explanations as possible, please everyone.
Can it be done, is it possible?
I don’t think so, as it uses the hardware. If they’ve never come in contact with the phone and manually put something into it that would activate the microphone, I don’t think it’s possible. A simple signal isn’t able to mess with the hardware.
