Cell Phone Luck Up

Can a minor sign up for a postpaid cell phone if they have a cosigner?
I am 17 and do not turn 18 until June and want to get my own postpaid account since i hate being on my parents plan and postpaid is cheaper.
I’m already on T-mobile sidekick prepaid and want to get a full plan and since i already have the phone i would be able to sign up without a contract. I’m sure my parents wouldn’t mind co signing as long as i dont have a contract.
Is this possible or am I out of luck?
Out of luck. You cannot sign a legal contract until you turn 18. Second, cell phone companies don’t use co-signers.
