Is there such a modem?
Okay, it is like this.
Back in the good old days, when we subscribe to a dial up internet access, we connect our PC to a dial up modem. In turn, this dial up modem will be connected to the wall socket for the phone line with a RJ 11 cable.
Is there such a modem which is wireless, like a cell phone or a mobile phone? This means instead of connecting our PC to a wired dial up modem, we connect it to a wireless type dial up modem. This modem will then access the internet by dialing up to the ISP wirelessly like a mobile phone. It will also need a SIM card to identify itself to the telephone company.
What sort of modem is that if it exists?
Please note. I mean a cell phone type dial up modem and not any other special wireless modem on sale today.
I guess the nearest you can get is a mobile dongle. connect it with your computer and connect to Mobile Broadband.
