How private are the text messages we send from cell phone to cell phone ?
I’ve always though of it as , don’t send anything through a text that you wouldn’t want the world to see.
How long after you send a text message does it stay on the company’s data, I mean I could delete it off my phone right away but it would still be on the data somewhere.
And how do they get text messages from celebrity’s after sex scandal’s in the news how they quote the texts .shouldn’t it be illegal to be reading someone else’s text messages and then releasing them to the world. Isn’t that the company’s fault, that’s not very professional and yet it happens a lot, but how ?
Depends where you live, in the US we have the patriot Act, and any phone service or ISP is going to save a lot of information that the authorities or a very good cracker can access…
Also the receiver can re-mail/forward anything you send in confidence…
I am certain there are methods to retransmit cell phone conversations, depending where you live you might want to visit a spy shop (chain store I believe).
