Is it possible that Ted Kennedy will accomplish what Rock Hudson did for recognition of AIDs. Ted Kennedy may be the signboard for radiation safety in hand held devices.
Let me rephrase. Their has been no mention of this possibility, yet it exists. Asians are addicted to the cell phone and the possibility has been noticed. Not being there I don’t know the rate of usage but I do know the threat is greater than using a cell phone on an Aircraft. (I was in the cockpit when it was thought calculators would disrupt navigation. We used Slide Rules instead. Sun was the favored brand and even had a pocket model. Metal not the original wood.
Good point. Perhaps they will be able to take something negative and use it in a positive way. I have always wondered about the use of cell phones. I read a study once where there was a high link to prostate cancer in “beat” cops and they figured out that it was because the cops would set up radar and hold the gun in their lap. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
