Can i use my Nokia E71′s Wi-Fi to browse internet in my Laptop?
As my Wi-Fi is not working in my Laptop i want to use my cell phone’s WLAN to connect to Internet in my Laptop so Is it possible?if yes then how? As i already have Wi-Fi modem at home i m able to browse the internet in my mobile but is there anything like i can use it in my laptop through the USB cable?do i have to install some kinda software in my Cellphone and in my Laptop?
No, phones do not support ICS, although some PalmPC’s do support a modem feature, which will require the connecter (Your laptop) to have WiFi enabled, in order to use the phone as a modem. USB cables CAN send packets (what the internet does) however, it really depends on the phone, as most USB cables are just used to transfer data, such as music onto the phones.
