What virus software can i install in a Palm cell phone?
What is a good virus protector that i can install on my cell phone, it’s a palm/
You really don’t need a virus protector for a Palm phone.
Since the first Palm was announced back in 1996 there have only been three malwares ever identified – ‘phage’ , ‘Palm_Liberty.A’, and ‘Vapor.741′.
These came out in 2000 but are extinct now.
Personally, I wouldn’t waste the phone resources on an antivirus.
There WERE three antivirus products for Palm… you might still be able to get them but none of the companies that first produced them have any links on their home sites for these products anymore. I also cannot confirm that they’ll work on the latest version of Palm OS.
The products are:
(1) McAffee Antivirus for Palm. If I recall correctly, you had to buy their whole suite to get the Palm component, or have a subscription to a service… I don’t know where you’d find it today.
(2) Symantec Anti Virus for Handhelds… the Symantec page is now dead but I found a link to the 2004 version which costs $40. I’m not sure it’s actually in stock.

(3) F-Protect was free, you can find it at the link below… again, the F-Protect site no longer mentions it….

Anyway, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it’s really not worthwhile investing time or effort into a Palm OS antivirus solution.
