Cell Phones Radiation Levels
Does cell phone radiation travel through the wire of a hands-free headset?
Basically, it is now common knowledge that use of a cellular phone held to your ear will expose the user to radiation linked to various diseases. Therefore, I have opted to use a hands-free set. However, I have recently heard that the radiation generated from the cell phone merely travels through the wire of the hands-free set to affect you in the same manner. If so, is is merely a lower level of exposure. This obviously excludes bluetooth devices and those that are completely wireless.
well…this is tricky…indeed the headset wire will act as an antena…(a poor one because it’s shielded) and this low level of radiation will travel through the wire , get atenuated on the way,and eventually reach you.The actual level of radiation that reaches you is very low,i’d say 100 times less than if u’d use the cell phone directly.So ….this is more than acceptable,i’d say you’re on the safe side.
