Cell Phones Release Dates
Cell phone purchase, curious when is the best time to buy.?
So I’m thinking about buy one of the new Google phones, probably and Nexus One. However, I don’t want to get it and then a month later the next big phone is released and the one that I purchased gets it’s price cut in half or something like that. I assume newer phones are released just before Christmas but I am not a profession about this by any means. lol
So, Is there a common release date for new phones?
New phones are released all year long. About the best you can do is google your carrier and new smart phones and see if there are any rumors floating around. As to price, carriers are always putting one or another phone on sale. One way to get a deal is to look at the prices the carrier’s authorized retailers are charging. They are almost always willing to make little or no profit on the sale of the handset. Walmart.com and amazon are good places to look.
