Cell Phones Sar Ratings
Which cell phone combines good call quality with low SAR, low price, smallest size possible & decent looks?
Hello. I should have spent a hundred hours in the last few weeks, looking for the right phone for me, reading reviews, checking prices and SAR ratings. I might go crazy any time now. Which cell phone combines good call quality with low SAR, low price, smallest size possible & decent looks? I don’t necessarily want no bells and whistles on my phone– just an inexpensive phone that I can receive and make good quality calls with decent size and looks. I’ve found Motorola Renew which is great for my budget at the moment, however it has a SAR rating of 1.26 average, 1.56 max which is a lot (max allowed is 1.6 anyway). I feel uncomfortable with the health risks associated with SAR levels. Your help is highly appreciated.
Edit: OK– forgot to mention– It turns out that I will need to stick with T-mobile for a year or two at least. So, I should pick one of the phones that T-mobile currently offers in which case I should decide which one of their is the right one for me.
A good call-quality, low-SAR, low-price phone with a small size and decent looks is the Motorola W259 available for the great price of FREE with a cell plan from Consumer Cellular. Consumer Cellular is a national cellular provider with plans starting as little as $10/month. This is far lower than the cellular phone you mentioned in your question.
