Cell phone coverage in Singapore?
I own an old Sprint phone which I’d like to take to Singapore with me. What type of cell phone coverage is available there, and could I use my phone? Keep in mind I will be getting a pre-paid plan for this only.
Singapore is use GSM systems. any of the phone is GSM will cover 99 % in Singapore. ( before buy any prepaid card here , check with the seller, which services provider card is Match with you phone.because some old GSM phone is GSM L. some cover H and L. ) we have Sin-Tel / M1 /Star-Hub and 7-11 pre paid .every way you can buy prepaid and top-up card , except 7-11 card only sold at 7-11, but all 7-11 sold any other card also ! please bring along you passport for register new card. as long you phone is GSM , okay ! * New Nokia / Samsung standard phone sold with prepaid card ( 10 SGD value ) around 80 – 100 SGD * may be is good option to you .
