Thinking of buying a blackberry from UBid.com, how I can get Verizon service on it?
I have curious if you had to buy a phone an online auction Can I get the professional of the current cell (Verizon) to cancel my current phone and activate the newly purchased phone? What are the limitations? I heard that cellular providers do not let you activate a phone unless it is purchased through them, is this true?
if the phone is off the Verizon network or was originally scheduled to Verizon's network then you should be able to. If you left the cell Cingular / us / Alltel network as they will not have the programming codes to put your phone number in your new BlackBerry in addition to not get the best coverage, since there is no vendor-specific software on the phone, if you're not in the contract and the easiest way is to buy only one (probably more cheap too)
