Cell Phones Verizon Droid
How much is a droid cell phone for an existing verizon customer?
I was wondering how much the Droid would cost for someone who has already been a verizon wireless customer… Last time I got a phone (2008) the display price in the store showed 49.99 but when I decided to buy it my total came out to something around $179. I guess because I was already a customer and 2 year contract had not ended. So please help me out…
If you are eligible to upgrade, the Droid is $200, after rebate, with a new 2 year contract. If you’re not eligible to upgrade, it’s $560 full retail price. However, for the same price, the Incredible does everything the Droid does, and more, but twice as fast. The only thing is, it doesn’t have a physical keyboard. But I, like most people, don’t think the Droid’s keyboard is very good anyway. The on-screen keyboard works great, plus you can even download Swype if you wanna use that- which is what I use. So for the same price, I’d definitely go with the Incredible. I’ve had one for a few weeks now, and absolutely LOVE it!!
