I was fired from my job…?
I had a job at Best Buy and I was fired for something stupid. My mother and I went to Best Buy Mobile at my Best Buy to get new cell phones. I purchased my cell phone and some accessories under MY employee discount numbers. In order to get my employee discount I have to pay with cash OR a check or card in MY name. The guy that rang my stuff out gave the $250 to my mom and said I’ll put it all on one tab. Don’t worry your daughter wont get in trouble. Well guess what? I ended up getting fired. Now I’m applying for more jobs and I want to put Best Buy down since it’s a great retail job. I obviously can’t put I got fired or else I wont get a job. What should I do?
If I dont put that job down that would mean I havent had a job since early 2008…idk im confused

If I were you I would put the job down and be honest about the mix up and being fired….when being interviewed just act like you learned something from it (ie to be more careful about follwing company policy and always asking a manager if you have questions about it or something) but before i did that i would talk to my previous supervisor at best buy and make sure they arent going to give you abad reference…call them and ask…if you are too embarassed to do so then have a friend or someone call and pretend like they are checking your references and see what they say about you and about you getting fired
