Sim Card usa in a european cellphone?

Hi at all, next week I will move in USA for 6 months, can I use the american sim card (AT&T, Tmobile ect.) in my quad band cell phone? I will go to Pittsburgh

As long as you have your phone unlocked, you will be able to use it with ATT or T-Mobile. Since this is not a short stay, I would not recomend pay as you go service as offered through both compans. This is what I would recomend to get the best value in service If you go with
ATT – They have a sim only option that will give you contract plans w/ mobile to mobile, free nights and weekends without having to sign a contract. This is not the “pick your plan option” This is the standard plans with no contract
T-Mobile – Has something called “flex Pay” Again as above, this is contract plans without the contract.
To get these plans, it MUST be through a corporate ATT or T-Mobile store, not an independent dealer
