Best New iPad Apps of 2011 – Which of the Top iPad apps in all Categories are your favorites so far this year?
Across 2010 and 2011, I’ve been using my iPad as a netbook alternative and communication/entertainment device mixed in one. Given that, these are my own favorite iPad apps:
News apps — BBC News, Mobile RSS HD, Flipboard, Guardian Eyewitness
PDF & Ebook apps — Kindle, Stanza, Bookman, Kobo
Writing & Organizer apps — PlainText, Evernote, Clockwork Notebook
Imaging apps — Draw for iPad, Photobucket, Adobe Ideas, Adobe Photoshop Express
Live TV apps — Yahoo! Entertainment, ABC Player
Movies & Music apps — Netflix, AirVideo, Pandora, Shazam
Social apps — Tweetdeck, AIM, Friendly
Apart from these, I also like iRemote Desktop for networking and the Dropbox app for storing files online.
