Ipad Etextbooks

etextbooks for e-readers(ipad)?
i want to buy an ipad, but im not sure if they will have all the textbooks i’ll need and i don’t want to buy one if it doesn’t. how can i find out before i buy one. also do you need the internet to read the books after you download them? oh and im looking for very affordable etextbooks, not ones that will cost as much as the hard copy. thanks
The iPad has a lot of books. It has the ibookstore, a kindle app, and the barnes and noble app. With these apps you get all the books on both the kindle and the nook, so the iPad is your best bet for the most amount of ebooks.
