How do you get push notifications for gmail on the iPad?
I recently learned that the mail app on the iPad has this feature called push notifications when your email reaches your inbox it bings and let’s you know. I am a gmail user and my friend says the only email that has this feature is yahoo! Mail. I absolutely hate yahoo! Mail. How would you get the push thing for gmail on the iPad mail app?
I use yahoo mail and I simply setup my user name and password in the SETTINGS –> EMAIL and then whenever the mail (icon at the bottom of the screen) receives mail, you will hear a chime.
