Ipad Guitar Amp App
I’m looking for a compact mobile electric guitar setup to take on the road!!?
I work on the road and am looking for an easy setup to bring with me. My guitar amp and pedals are too much to bring. I was wondering if anybody out there has tried the app for the ipad that you can plug your guitar straight into? If so, what extra cables or adaptors do you need? Also what would you recommend for an electric guitar that’s compact and easy to travel with?

Have you consider Danelectro’s small amp. It is for earphones only. So, noise would not be a problem in a hotel room. Small and portable. Just plug any guitar into it with a regular guitar cord. Also, Vox makes a similar item.
As for guitars, are you referring to a small sized guitar? If so, I don’t have any good recommendations. I don’t like to play them because of the small fretboards. As for full sized guitars that are smaller and easier to carry around, I think the Washburn Maverick BT series would work well. The fretboard is the same as a Les Paul. The body is slightly smaller and much lighter. Makes a good knock around guitar. Best of all, they don’t bring much on the market. You can pick a used on up on eBay for under $100.
