Uninstalling Wifi Sync 1.0?
I downloaded wifi sync both on my mac (Snow Leopard) and iPad (3.2.1) today and tried it out. Unfortunately it some how didn’t work. When iTunes says “veriflying…” my iPad goes to “syncing in progress” but when iTunes says “Syncing iPad” my iPad jumps out of the syncing page back to the WIFI sync page… if I leave them on, it will just repeat that process. So i decided to uninstall wifi sync. However, the terminal uninstall didn’t work. After I reboot my mac, the wifi sync icon re-appears on my menu bar.
1. Terminal uninstall requires a password, what password? I just pressed enter a couple of times and it said “wifi sync has been uninstalled” is it because of that?
2. Does cleanapp work? I don’t think it will since wifi sync is not an actual app…
PLEASE HELP.
i managed to delete wifi sync through terminal and root file. But now, itunes wont recognize my ipad…
Maybe the steps below will help you!
1. Click Start Menu and click on Control Panel
2. Double click Add/ Remove Porgrams and navigate “Wifi Sync 1.0″
3. Click “Remove” to uninstall it.
4. Click “Uninstall” when the program pops up
5. Select the programs you want to uninstall
6. Click “Next” and uninstall it
