Why didn’t Apple ship iPad with iPhone OS v4.0?
But chose to announce the new OS v4.0 a mere 4 days later after the initial iPad launch?
p.s. iPad runs a special version of iPhone OS (v3.2)
p.p.s. v4.0 is widely believed to have multi-tasking support, which is a feature sorely missing on the more powerful iPad (processing-power and screen-real-estate-wise).
The OS 4.0 still in beta, they are still adding or removing features and trying them out!!
