Ipad Location Services Gps
how does ipad(wi-fi only) google map service pinpoint your location?
funny, i only have this ipad wi-fi version, so technically, it doesn’t have any GPS chips in it, i.e. it cannot connect to the satellite to pinpoint my location, however in google maps of the ipad(or ipod touch wi-fi version), i can pinpoint my location.
Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on here? how do you pinpoint yourself without a GPS?
