Ipad Owners Manual
Setting up an iPad for the first time?
So, a friend comes by last night, asking for help setting up his new iPad. My understanding of computers is a little better than his and so I agreed to help. Those things are too cool but I had some difficulty. I use a PC.
In any event he is due back this evening and while I have downloaded the PDF owners manual, I wonder if anyone could help me to expedite the process. Something like:

Oops, there is a problem. Sean, I’m interested in the iPAD not iPOD.
Set it up? You don’t have to “set it up”. You turn it on and use it.
However, to do more, install iTunes on his computer. Now you can sync music, pictures, etc, and back it up, too.
Seriously, an iPad is painfully simple to use. You’re overcomplicating things.
