If I wanted to record audio with a male to male cable?
if i wanted to record audio playing on my computer, or on another device like my ipad, can I use a male to male audio cable plugged into the microphone jack on my computer so Audacity can record it without me having to hold a microphone to my speakers or ipad? Can the belkin retractable car stereo male to male cable solve this?
You should plug in to the “Line in” jack of the computer, not the “Mic in”.
I don’t know what connectors the Belkin cable has, but the computer and most of the portable audio devices will have 3.5mm stereo jacks.
