Ipad Sync
How do you sync a single app into an iPad/iPhone/iTouch without resetting all the other apps?
I want to sync an app, Tapic, that i have downloaded into my computer. i can’t access it through my ipad. But I can’t sync tapic without resetting all the other apps, but i can’t do that cos there’s some information in the other apps that are important.
I see there’s a promotion for Tapic (for free) for a limited time. It looks a little glitchy. But anyway, just install it onto your device the normal way by clicking the app in the app store on your device and entering your password.
Now, if you for some reason you don’t want to sync all your apps when you hook up your device to your computer, go into iTunes before you hook it up. Go to Preferences, click Devices icon at the top, then put a check mark next to “Prevent … from syncing automatically.”
Now, when you plug it in, click your device in the left of iTunes on the sidebar under “Store” (give it some time to mount).
Now, with your device selected, go over and choose “Apps” in the top row. Now uncheck all the apps that you dont want synced. Make sure that the “Sync Apps” box is checked, and hit “sync” near the lower, left-hand corner. Only your checked apps will sync. I dont know why you would want to do this, and why you think information would be lost, but that’s how you do it.
