ipad 2 can run softwares and usb drives?
I’m thinking of getting an ipad 2.
I read that i can connect the ipad to a larger monitor. Can I also connect the ipad to a keyboard and mouse? that way, at home i’m basically using the ipad as a cpu.
but if the ipad doesnt have usb ports how can i connect my thumb-drives?
Can I make and run MS office powerpoint slides?
You must be thinking of a jailbroken iPad. Otherwise Most of what you said is not possible.
For a non-jail-broken iPad:
There is a app that allows you to have the iPad use a second monitor for Macs, but does not work the other way around. App store policies would not allow any developers to make an app that would so ether.
The keyboard requires ether a blue-tooth keyboard or a proprietary wired keyboard.
Microsoft office has not made any Microsoft office program for the iPad, and iWorks does not save to any MS Office program.
As for the thumb-drives, you can’t. There is an usb adapter, but it only works for cameras.
