Ipad Update Problems
iPad won’t charge and isn’t recognised by computer? More details..?
Hi! I have been having some troubles with my iPad which is about 4 months old :]?
Today when I tried charging it in a wall outlet it didn’t charge at all… there wasn’t anything saying “Not charging” either so I tried changing the outlet, rebooting and replugging the usb cord but none of that worked either. When I turned the iPad off, and I plugged in the USB cord into the still turned off device it turned on itself . . . but it didn’t charge either?
I then tried connecting it to my computer which uses Vista, and the device wasn’t recognised :S (I tried the usb ports at the front and back)
Also I haven’t updated itunes of the iPad to 4.3 .. but it worked last time even when I hadn’t updated it yet?

(Ps. It’s jailbroken, but it’s been jailbroken for a while now… so it shouldn’t cause a problem)
all i can think of is the fact that it is jailbroken. when you have a jailbroken ipad or whatever it cause you to have problems with them. i think this is why. you say it’s been jailbroken for a while but eventually you will end up having problems.
so that is why i think it is not working
