Iphone Bypass Activation
How can I know my iPhone’s current ios without being able to access the settings?
My iphone is awaiting activation by a supported Sim-card, but I don’t have it. My friend has it, and he’s in another country, with the sim and his new iphone. This one was a present by him.
I’d like to know if there’s a program or another way to tell what ios this iphone currently is in?
There are programs which can bypass this action but I need to know my firmware for that.
It’s an iphone 3G.

Jazzy – I’ve searched and found, the problem is my iOS! I need to know what firmware it’s on to hacktivate it. I downloaded limera1n, which supports 4.1 ONLY and I don’t want my iphone to be messed up…
Darrell – itunes won’t connect to the iphone since it’s awaiting activation.

just connect it to iTunes cancel any updates or sync if you would not like those to happen and check in the summary it should say the firmware there
