Android/Iphone Productivity Questions. 10 points to Best Answerer?
Alright, So my contract is about to expire on my wireless retailer. I’m going to purchase a data plan this time around, and not a messaging plan. I know that the I-phone has applications that are “free SMS messaging” that run on the internet and actually work quite well. I want a T-mobile G1 that runs on Android, but I’m wondering whether the Android market has applications such as free SMS messaging. Also, My wireless retailer is AT&T, so no Droid for me. its either G1 or Iphone. I love physical keyboards, that’s why I’m not going straight to the Iphone.

Well, I was informed that AT&T simcards are able to operate on T-Mobile phones. So I’m only looking at the G1 from Tmobile
One problem I see, is that most wireless phone companies require a DATA or Premium plan of some sort to use a “smart phone”, which probably includes messaging I think..
Not 100% sure, but I do think they require it..

Of course there is some contradiction in the way you asked the question. On one hand your contract is expiring, leading me/us to believe we could answer regarding other carriers and then you say later, that you are sticking with AT$T?
