Landscape keyboard mode in iPhone 3.0 update?
If I update my iPod Touch to the 3.0 software, will there be any way for me to turn OFF the landscape keyboard mode in Mail? I haven’t been able to find an answer for this anywhere else, and this has been the big reason I haven’t bought the update for the past few months. I really prefer not having the landscape mode for Mail, so I would like to see if I have the option to get all the other update benefits w/o using this function.
Right now there is no way to turn off landscape mode in the iphone ipod 3.0. The only way you CAN do it is if you choose to jailbreak the ipod and download a little thing that can turn you can use to turn the rotation sensing of the ipod on and off. I do not know if you are willing to jailbreak but honestly it is easy. I was very skeptical about doing it at first because I was scared I was going to screw it up. I used pwnage tool but as far as I know that jailbreak tool is only mac compatible. I love my new jailbreaked iphone and I love being able to turn the rotation off. Its amazing for reading in bed. Make sure you download SBS settings for quicker access to toggle the rotation, wifi, etc. on and off.
Make sure you read up before you do jailbreak though and you have all the info, that is if you do choose to do it.
