Iphone Landscape Lock

My iphone shows an icon at the top next to the battery icon that says it’s locked on portrait mode. Help?!?
does anyone know how to clear that so i can text and whatnot in landscape mode? please & thank you! >___<
double click the home screen button and scroll left until you see a lock. unclick that and you will be fine.
