How to make my cat leave the hamster alone ?
She watches him
tries to attack him through the cage
kicks aboutthw cage
one night she jumped onto it and it fell on the floor
she licks her lips when she sees him
how to make her leave him
I hiss at her whn she goes near the cage but she won’t learn
also I start stroking her (different problem -general) she will start scratching andbiting me after a min ir so of stroking under he neck which she loved and trneraly scratcys me painfully and bites me if I touch her accidentlu or anythingnlike that

Good luck. Hunting, catching and eating small animals like hamsters is what cats have been doing since there were cats. It’s hardwired right into them. All you can do is put the cage where the cat can’t get at it, make sure there’s no way for her to reach a paw in, and secure the cage so that if she happens to knock it over it won’t open. And never underestimate what a cat can do if it really wants to. If I wanted to be 100% sure a cat couldn’t get at a hamster, the cage would be hanging in the middle of the room like a birdcage, at least 6 feet from any furniture or the floor.
