jailbroken iphone tmobile questions?
every month i have to add more money to my phone for minutes, so i asked my mom about adding my phone to the family plan. she told me that even though my iphone is jailbroken, tmoblie would charge me every time i use wifi and the apps on my phone, is this true?
If you have a jailbroken iphone, im sure you have sbsettings. if you dont, than download it.
Open up sbsettings and turn DATA off. Than go to your home page and go into settings,general, and turn 3g off and cellular data.
Wifi does not come from a T Mobile tower, it comes from whoever is broadcasting it.
with these settings your phone will never use tmobiles edge connection (since an iphone cannot use tmobiles 3g, they have different radio bands)
You will never be charged.
