What exactly is “Orientation Lock” on iOS4?
well i updated my iphone 3g to iOS4 , then jailbroke it 
and now i have a feature in multitasking called “portrait orientation lock” .. what exactly does it do?

i believe it locks the screen from flipping sideways. Ive wanted something like this… Like if i am laying in bed on my side my screen will flip but the screen was in the right position to me. So thats an idea where it can be usefu.
