Iphone Os 3.0.1 Firmware
Help,im starting to hate my iphone 3G?
A couple of weeks ago i bought a new iphone 3G 8GB for 540USD ,i updated the firmware to 3.0.1 and then unlocked and jailbroke it,the reason why i hate it is cuz ,its lagging alot(i dont know if thats an OS3 problem ) apps crash too often typing is slow,my friend’s iphone running OS2 runs much smoother…. my question is that when apple releases the new OS 3.1 what will i need to do to upgrade to OS 3.1 ,it wont be straight forward cuz i already jailbroke and unlocked my phone…Any help would be appreciated
well it lagging because of the jailbreak. i dont know when the 3.1 OS will be released and it will take some time for the jailbreak/unlock to be released too. so you should just wait till the update, rejailbreak and unlock and then see if it still lags. if it does i would suggest un jailbreaking and unlocking because that is the problem… if you NEED it to be jailbroken or unlocked then your going to half to suck it up and deal with the lagging because theres no other way around the lagging. if you want to keep the jailbreak i would suggest going into cydia and go to manage and then packages and un install any packages that your not using because that cause the iphone to run alot slower… when you install a new package for cydia, the black background with all the text comes up and it says something like (amount of numbers) pages installed or something like that. its at the top of all the text. i try to keep the number under 4000 if it goes over it tend to lag alot! so i hope this helps! if i dosnt just email me and ill try to help some more
