Iphone Otterbox Case Commuter
OTTERBOX DEFENDER QUESTIONS?
i have heard about the airbubble and im not concerned, however is there still a filter over the speakers or has that been removed now? also, does the case really cause an echo?
i was deciding on getting either this or the commuter, i am not a construction worker but am dead afraid of dropping my iphone or getting it wet. i normally take pretty good care of phones but come on, the iphone is more than just a phone and i dont have insurance on it.
For me the Defender series is too big, also the mostly rubber exterior is hard to slide into my pocket. I prefer the Commuter series, cause it’s smaller and has the hard shell on the outside. I have a case on my iPhones about half the time, even though I have lots of them, and haven’t broken a screen yet….(ok I did break two while repairing pones, not bad though for having repaired aroung 500 or so. it still sucked though) I have lots of customers that come back time after time with broken screens or worse. Those people are just plain careless with their phones. I had a lady yesterday that broke her phone, then while I was fixing it she broke her daughters phone she had borrowed.
If you take good care of it, and take precautions, and don’t do things that lead to dropping it, you should do alright. One of the most common ways people break their phone is to set it down in their lap after finishing a call while driving. They forget, get out of the car and it’s bouncing on the concrete. Another popular way is they carry it in their back pocket, use the rest room, and it falls in the toilet. Women seem to do that one the most. Including my wife, 3 times already…
