Iphone Outlook Sync
How do I stop having syncing problems between Outlook and my iphone?
We recently got Office 2010, and when we reinstalled Outlook, and it synced to the iphone, the iphone created another calendar by itself. So now the Outlook synced stuff is in brown, and when I make an appointment on my iphone, it is in red. The red stuff won’t sync over to Outlook! I am so frustrated! What do I do? Also, random appointments are getting lost.
It sounds like the calendar events you are adding on the iPhone are being stored in a different calendar. It’s hard to say for sure what’s going on without seeing it, but try editing a “red” event on the iPhone and changing the “calendar” to whatever one shows up as brown. Then see if this will sync back to Outlook.
If this works, you can then go into your iPhone settings, then “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and scroll to the bottom. There you’ll be able to change the default calendar to match the “brown” calendar. This should force any new events you create to default to the correct calendar.
