iphone specs comparison
without being biased would you get an iphone or the HTC touch HD or the HTC touch diamond 2?

OK so based on specs both the HTC phones are tremendous compared to theiphone which is really just a fashion statement and more of a toy than a phone but i have been told not to get a windows based phone because it is too much like computer and kind of boring and not great to use or very easy either.

Has anybody used both?

I myself really like the HTC touch HD, however, not sure about windows mobile and it seems a little wide. THE diamond 2 has an amazingly crisp screen but i wished it had a larger screen. And the iphone is just cool.
If a phone had the size of the iphone but the features of the HD it would be perfect.

Ps- i have seen comparisons made, however, i dont care what “experts” say, i want to know what everyday people think and feel about the phones.

Ok I’ll be a regular user and not a full fledged “WinMobile Expert”
If you really want simplicity, get Apple Iphone because it’s the easiest of the three to use.

The other two are Windows Mobile devices, they don’t have an App store but they are avaliable all-through the web. Most of the softwares come free but some of them will cost you. The media player on these things are also excellent. Also it might be a hard thing to handle but sometimes the Windows may run out of memory and you would need to reset the phone from time to time. The best part about the HTC devices are the Manila TouchFlo3d interface which makes it the best organizer you can have.
Also I don’t think I am tired of my HTC yet. I use it in a daily basis..

Well the Iphone is…simple device. I say it’s nice…

Oh and if you choose HTC, get the Diamond. ;)
The MUST HAVE software for them would be Resco File Explorer(simple: a better file explorer) and Coreplayer (nice video player compatible with DIVX and XVID codec files)
You can send me email if you need help on WinMo. No problems.
