Can Malware spread from iPhone to PC?
Hi everyone! I have a question concerning if Malware can spread from an iPhone to a PC. So I was driving around today, and looking for a gym to work out at. I googled using my phone places, and I clicked on a link to somewhere, I think it was a blog. Anyway, long story short, a message popped up saying, “download (fill in the blank) for spyware protection”, so at the next stoplight I X’d out of the page.
My home has a wireless router, which is connected to the main PC, a PS3, and I use the wireless for my iPhone, and I am worried if I enable WiFi on my phone, something bad will happen to the PC, even though it seems like my phone is ok after I X’d out of the page. Can something bad happen to my PC, if I enable wifi or sync?
There are no iPhone viruses, you can’t get one. You can’t install anything on an iPhone without an admin password. You can’t infect your PC with what is on the iPhone.
