When I can cancel my cell phone contract and avoid the ETF?
Currently I'm finishing the end of my mobile phone contract with Alltel. October 15th was the day I registered in tw years. I'm really looking forward to an iPhone and I want my port number with me at Alltel AT & T. My question is, when is the best time for my number to AT & T. I have heard that Alltel has yet to be active for the port work. But by port my number Im going to assume that Alltel will notice and consider it as a termination of service and charged me a $ 200 ETF. Any thoughts people? Identification love to switch to AT & T as soon as possible because I really could use the Iphone for my work.
When transferring your number, not canceled Alltel account. Your account is canceled by the port your number over. As for the early termination fee, the only way out of this is if you go about the seas for military purposes. Although you have to prove them with documents / papers. If you wait until your contract is up then obviously you will not have to pay for it.
