Jailbreak Iphone Keeps Freezing

I bought an iphone with jailbreak on it?
Hi i bought an iphone of a friend because they got the IPhone 4. it had cydia on it and it was really slow and kept freezing. So i went onto google and searched how to restore factory settings. I went into itunes and clicked restore and now it wont restore. it comes up unknown error 1015.
Can somebody please help me the iPhone is stuck in recovery mode
DFU mode doesnt work. I have tried downloading Tiny Umbrella to fix the problem but it says it wont do it
google it, there are much better explainations out there than you can get here.
