Is there a best time of year for mobile phone offers? Plus, what’s the best deal you got or heard?
Is pre xmas good, or January? When are retailers more willing to throw things in and cut line rentals etc? I’m with CPW and know how to get a good deal over the phone, but just wondering whether pre or post xmas is usually best. My contract is overdue upgrade by a long way!

Yes, the run up to Christmas is the best time of the year to pick up a mobile phone deal. This is the time of the year when the retailers and networks sign up most of their customers and so release their best offers. You can also get deals with free gifts such as an xbox 360 – makes a nice present.
